GIOD - Timelines
Phase 0: (Jun-Sep’97) Install and evaluate ODBMS systems.
Phase 1: (Sep-Dec’97) Install CMS software components, run simulation, test and develop new OO codes.
Phase 2: (Jan-Sep’98) Join HPSS to ODBMS, test with realistic LHC schema/applications. Make measurements for model simulations.
Phase 3: (Sep’98-Jun’99) Evaluate combined systems as a model Regional Centre, looking at size, network connectivity. Test deployment of wide area ODBMS replication and physics analysis. Identify crucial areas for future work or investment.
