Project Cyclops: Live HPSS Robot video to Java Applet
- Quickcam mounted in HPSS, connected to NT PC
- VFW server controls image size and properties, waits for UDP connections from Web clients
- Decimates frames, and sends greyscale panes to client
- Client is Java applet that updates live video in the user’s browser window
- Server times out broken connections, monitors frame rates, will do simple compression
