Tracker geometry

• Uses the Java3D API (works with JDK1.2)

• Demonstrated at the Internet-2 meeting in San Francisco in Sep’98
  • Reading and displaying events from Objy databases at the show and at Caltech and CERN

• Will be demonstrated at SC’98 at the iGrid, NPACI and CACR stands
  • Data from CERN and Caltech, with special network arrangements

• Running on a 450 MHz HP “Kayak” PC
  • Very high frame rates in free rotation of a complete event

• Developments:
  • “Drill down” into the database for picked objects
    • Refit tracks
  • Integrate into JAS
    • Tricky due to JAS use of JDK Swing classes
